Can I ride ALL CycleBoard models without power?
Yes you can ride all the models of CycleBoard products without power, every product free wheels easily, but the X-Quad does have quite some weight to it so it may be harder to do so. But if you run out of battery, you will still be able to roll home no problem.
What is the maximum age to ride?
There is none! We have customers in their 60's, 70's , 80's, and even a few in there 90's. CycleBoard designs all our products with safety and fun in mind. CycleBoard offers something for everyone.
What is the minimum age that you recommend for riding?
Although steering the CycleBoard Rover and X-Quad is designed to be easy and intuitive for most riders, our current models can reach faster top speeds and should not be used by children. We have recently added a speed limit feature on new models in the display to assist with speed control but we strongly suggest having adult supervision for riders under the age of 18.
Do I need a license to ride a CycleBoard?
Please review your towns local rules and laws as each city, state, and country has its own requirements. We also strongly encourage the use of helmets and safety equipment/gear when riding.
Can I ride in cold/hot weather?
Yes, although riding in extremely cold/hot temperatures can reduce the battery range / life. Please review your towns local rules and laws as each city, state, and country has its own requirements. We also strongly encourage the use of helmets and safety equipment/gear when riding.
Can I ride on any terrain?
All our current products can be ridden on and off road, but some models will have a smoother ride and more upgraded suspension. Take your ride environment into consideration before making a purchasing decision.
What is the best way to clean my E-Bikes and E-Boards?
Wipe down the surfaces with a wet or damp cloth. You can spray your board and wheels with a hose or spray bottle, but avoid spraying it directly with high pressure.
What maintenance is required for CycleBoard products?
Required maintenance items include charging the battery, maintaining proper tire pressure, , changing tubes and deck grips, bleeding the brakes, if required and keeping it clean.
For brake bleeding, it can be bled in about 10 minutes or bike shops are experts at bleeding hydraulic brakes if you don't want to do it yourself. Please email support@revivefitnessdirect.com for info on bleed kits.
Are CycleBoard E-Boards and E-Bikes ready to ride out of the box?
All CycleBoard products require some assembly on arrival. Follow the instructions included in the box or watch the set up video in our help center.
Fully charge your battery before your first ride and make sure to read and understand the owners-manual and safety labels for your particular CycleBoard model.
What kind of batteries do you use?
All CycleBoard models uses rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery packs built exclusively with LG or Samsung cells, very similar to those used in Tesla. We have taken great care to ensure our battery packs are built to the highest standards of safety and performance.
