Repair and Exchange Policy
This Repair & Exchange Policy governs all repairs, servicing, and exchanges of soft-shelled hyperbaric chamber bladders manufactured or distributed by OxyHealth, LLC . By submitting a chamber for repair or exchange, the owner (“Customer”) agrees to the terms outlined herein.
Repair Policy
1. Standard repair
Except as otherwise specified herein, repairs required on any component of a soft-shelled hyperbaric chamber—excluding the zipper—shall be subject to a flat repair fee of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000 USD). This fee covers labor, materials, and standard repair procedures deemed necessary by OxyHealth to restore the chamber to operational condition.
2. Zipper Repairs
Any repair or replacement of the zipper on a soft-shelled hyperbaric chamber shall be subject to a flat repair fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500 USD), reflecting the specialized labor and materials required for such service.
3. Shipping Responsibilities
The customer shall be solely responsible for all costs related to shipping the chamber to OxyHealth. Once the repair is completed and all fees are paid in full, OxyHealth will cover the return domestic shipping costs, excluding HI, AK, PR, and international shipments.
4. Additional Repairs
In the event that OxyHealth determines that additional repairs (excluding zipper-related repairs) are necessary to ensure proper functionality and safety, such repairs shall be performed without additional charge beyond the originally quoted repair fee.
5. Turnaround Time
The standard repair process shall require approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the date OxyHealth receives the chamber, subject to inspection, availability of materials, and service scheduling.
6. Loaner Chambers
At Customer’s request, OxyHealth may provide a loaner chamber for temporary use during the repair period, subject to availability, for a fee of Nine Hundred Dollars ($900 USD) plus shipping costs. Loaner chambers are not available for the Quamvis 320 model.
7. Repair Eligibility
OxyHealth reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a chamber is eligible for repair based on condition, age, and material integrity.
• Chambers that are ten (10) years or older may be deemed non-repairable if OxyHealth determines that the existing materials are incompatible with current repair methods or present an unacceptable risk of failure.
• Each chamber shall be eligible for a maximum of two (2) total repairs over its lifetime.
• Each individual component—including any specific port, window, zipper, or seal—shall be eligible for replacement one (1) time only. Once replaced, that component shall no longer be eligible for future repair or replacement.
8. Repair Standards and Limitations
• OxyHealth does not utilize glues, adhesives, or chemical bonding agents in the manufacture or repair of its chambers.
• The presence of any adhesives, tapes, solvents, coatings, or other foreign substances applied by Customer or any third party may render the chamber unsuitable for repair. OxyHealth reserves the right to refuse service in such cases.
9. Repair Warranty
• All completed repairs shall carry a one (1) year limited warranty covering only the specific component that was repaired or replaced.
• In the event that the repaired component fails within one (1) calendar year from the date of service, OxyHealth shall apply a credit in the amount of the original repair cost toward the purchase of a replacement bladder through the Exchange Program. This credit shall not be redeemable for cash.
